K9 Kop Project founder, and founder of CareFree Canine (CFC), and owner of the business development firm, VR Ventures.
I has a passion and love for animals, especially dogs, and with an extensive background in business development, and years dedicated to helping others follow their dreams, I decided it was time to follow my own. I've had animals all my life, and from the time I was a little girl my dream was to be working with them in as many ways as possible.”
I'm a Veteran saleswoman and owner of the business development firm, VR Ventures. While accomplished in the business world, I love working with people (especially veterans and LEO'S) and animals, and I try to help charitable foundations, animal businesses and animal rescue operations run more efficiently and effectively.
“I’ve learned that when people trust you to guide them and teach them about something that can make or break their financial future, you don’t take that lightly,” I have a history of high-responsibility jobs – U.S. Army Air Traffic Controller and trainer, FedEx owner/operator, Safe House volunteer, American Indoor Football Association manager, and franchise saleswoman/business developer.
In addition, I ran highly successful B2B and D2D operations in the south for nearly 6 years before relocating to Baltimore MD where I continued to work with individuals interested in sales and marketing careers.
“It’s hard to describe what I can do, because I’ve done so many things” . Each project has a life of its own. “I can help existing companies that are restructuring, reorganizing, or expanding through franchising or territory licensing. I can help new entrepreneurs build their businesses from the ground floor up. I can be as hands on or hands off as they need. I can start them up, research and lease locations, develop standard operating procedures and other documents, and teach them to handle the management issues, hire and fire the people on their staff, then walk away when the job is done.”
The biggest part of the job is empowering clients. “ultimately having an implementation team in place and focusing on the educational portion is key to getting companies moving in the direction that they want to go. “The average person can do a lot toward starting, restructuring or growing their own business - they just need to know what to do, how to do it, and where to begin,” “That’s where I can help,”
Extremely passionate about helping foundations I worked on a national campaign with the RAACE Foundation to bring awareness to sexual child abuse, volunteered with Believe in Tomorrow, and The Ray Lewis Foundation just to name a few.
Now back around family in the Lehigh Valley I'm currently in Walnutport, Pennsylvania, and applying my business knowledge to benefit my own foundation the K9 Kop Project which helps supply K9 units with everything from K9s to equipment to immediate needs and emergency supplies.
Our signature yearly event the East Coast K9 Trials (ECK9 trials) is a fun filled and educational event that allows the public to come and watch K9 and military officers compete against each other.
This event helps the public to understand the day to day challenges and needs the units face and allows us to raise money to donate back to them and their brother and sister Leos throughout the US.
