I've been a soldier, a spy, a technologist, an entrepreneur, and a creative. Across all of those experiences, I've fundamentally been a problem solver obsessed with figuring out how to truly overcome challenging obstacles. I've learned to observe and understand problems holistically and approach solution development in three ways: 1. It's never just about the technology. In fact, the technology is the easy part. It's more about people, behavior, culture, environment, and economics; 2. A person doesn't scale. A team does. When we stop trying to solve problems as individuals but rather as teams, we can accomplish anything; And 3. There are no easy answers so don't waste time looking for shortcuts. Real problems are hard and complex, so real solutions are going to require work and elegance.
