About Mark
Mark Frugoni, after having spent nearly two decades working at various investment banks, co-founded FOCUS Wealth Advisors in 2011. The company was established to provide focused advice and service to a select group of individuals, families and institutions seeking an independent and non-biased alternative to the large banks and investment firms. In addition to overseeing all corporate activities of the firm, Mr. Frugoni serves as senior advisor, investment strategist and private portfolio manager for the firm where he works in concert with the various firm professionals at all levels of client interaction and service.
Mark has served in the investment and financial services industry since 1992. During this time he worked at some of the largest and most recognizable investment banks in the roles of investment strategist, portfolio manager and wealth management advisor.
Mr. Frugoni earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University. He has completed executive education programs in business administration, strategy and finance through the Harvard University Business School (HBX program), modern portfolio theory through Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, and Personal Financial Planning through the University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business. Mark also completed the Family Office Association’s Qualified Family Office Professional program and in 2010 was inducted into Research Magazine’s ETF Advisor Hall of Fame.
The Mr. Frugoni has volunteered his time serving on advisory boards of his university alumni group as well as serving on the board of directors for local community organizations. He supports causes that are important to himself, his family and his community. Among these causes are child literacy, educational funding programs, community outreach services, first responder support groups, programs for those with special needs, and organizations that augment education through the development of leadership and responsibility. Mark is married and has been a resident of Houston for almost all of his life. He is an avid swimmer, enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
