About Matt
A "recovering journalist," I spent more than a decade in New York City newsrooms before leaving for marketing and communications because of the tough market for journalism. I'd love to speak to other writers, readers, communicators and thinkers about the opportunities out there in the journalism, marketing, PR and think tank worlds, since I've had some experience with all of these. I'm also a former Oregon Duck (quack quack) who grew up in Steel-to-STEM City of Pittsburgh. When not cranking on some copy for IBM and our illustrious magazine Industrious (ibm.biz/industrious), I'm exploring the city with my family, taking photos of this wild world of ours, and cooking or baking when at home.
