Active duty for 13 years, medically retired 2015. While researching alternative non-pharmaceutical treatments for combat veterans, particularly those with TBI, became very interested in small scale sustainable agriculture. Have volunteered at local farm, taken courses online from UMASS Amherst, and am looking for information on grants for small, veteran, disabled, women owned businesses. Also looking for any advice or networking in this field. I plan on opening the property to other combat veterans for training and veteran advocacy. Thanks very much!
