About Mary M.
I'm a former Marketer who worked for 17 years in the Advertising industry supporting consumer and business brands. In 2003, I made a career shift to Higher Education, teaching and coaching.
For the last dozen years, I have been a Career Coach (CDF trained) working largely with Millennials on strategic career planning, the job search and much more. I have been a coach for MLT, a non-profit providing coaching support for under-representative minorities attending the top 15 MBA programs in the U.S. In addition to my private coaching practice, AdviseU, I also work for the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Since 2012, I have been a member of the Career Management Center team where I support MBAs in two programs. In this role, I have worked closely with many Vets across all branches of our Armed Forces who have made successful - and exciting! - transitions to their civilian careers. I have a pulse on the market, am familiar with a wide range of business careers in all sorts of organizations - large and small, private or public sector firms.
I'm happy to "serve" as a Career Coach for ACP and contribute to helping those find their next career. Proud Aunt of active duty Special Forces nephew.
