I am very passionate about recognizing our patriot's service. Much more needs to be done to better prepare our returning service members to integrate back into normal society. All of my friends and work associates with military experience talk about the camaraderie and how much they miss that specific aspect of their military career and the buddy system. We need to buddy match civilians with veterans. Way too many veterans are troubled and feel as though there is no place to turn, and they go on to live in anguish or they end up hurting either themselves or others.
This program offers the opportunity to pair up and help returning service members with a person with experience to answer questions, to create an opportunity to establish a relationship and possibly a friendship.
