About Estella
I am a mother of a Marine veteran and three other adult children along with being a grandmother.
I care deeply for our active duty and veterans as I witnessed a young child the way our Vietnam veterans were treated.
I have many military members (active, veteran and deceased across all military branches) in my very large family.
I want to ensure that there is a solid transition to civilian life for veterans and their families.
I am a Senior Program and Senior Project Manager with 26 years+ experience in many industries as direct hire and also as a Sr, Business Solution consultant.
I have extensive experience with Organization Change Management and Effective team building skills that allow me to use my gifts of compassionate and servant leadership with strength and integrity.
I have been a Denver supporter of the non profit organization from Colorado Springs, The Home Front Cares providing funds for grants, supplies and overall support.
I was a co-lead for an organization called BaxVets in Englewood, CO at Baxter Healthcare before they closed their Colorado operations.
We raised funds to hold resume writing and job search seminars at local hotels in Colorado Springs. We were also active at the Fort Carson, CO job fairs by holding mock interviews, making suggestions on resume changes to highlight the correct skill sets that businesses are looking for and helping with dress, speech and behavior.
