About Joseph

After more than three years of rappelling from helicopters, directing artillery rounds in field exercises, and guiding Soldiers on missions through the wilderness, I have transitioned out of the military from my position as a Captain in the U.S. Army with an honorable discharge. I am currently a sales development representative at Greenhouse Software, where I am utilizing the strategic planning and leadership skills ingrained in me through my training.

I have served as an Assistant Operations Officer, where I planned, coordinated, and analyzed battalion training operations of over 600 Soldiers to ensure successful operations. Previously as a Fire Support Officer and Platoon Leader, I led 7-40 Soldiers through multiple military operations.

My motto is “Take the initiative,” and I have taught this mindset to my subordinates and peers through example. I strive to complete tasks ahead of time to ensure the productivity and efficiency of the team and to anticipate and provide the tools needed for success before any setback can occur.
