About Richard
I served in the first Persian Gulf War as a boatswain mate 2nd class in the Navy. i specialized as a master helmsman and rescue swimmer. I actually joined the Navy to gain experience as boat coxswain which could be used later in life as a professional fishing guide. I am skilled in woodworking and many interior construction fields for residential construction. i did utilize the GI Bill to complete my degree in Animal Science, which i really have no desire any more for.
Future goals include learning blacksmithing and metalworking to add to my furniture building skills. Being a fishing guide for veterans and lower income families is definitely high priority on a part time basis. i also want to train returning veterans in the woodworking field. In addition to work related fields, I teach creation science to anyone seeking to believe the Bible as the written word of God.
