About Marina
Hello!
My name is Marina Harris.
During my time in the Navy, I was stationed in Norfolk, VA. In my four years, I experienced one deployment that lasted 9 months (6 for me when flown in) which toured during the time of Operation Enduring Freedom. The deployment serving on the USS Harry S. Truman ended in April of 2014. I'd also served on two different aircraft carriers (one vessel being the USS Theodore Roosevelt and the other was the Truman as mentioned from earlier.) When serving on the Roosevelt, I'd earned my air service warfare pin along with a few other service metals such as being awarded sharp shooter, OC contamination for Security Reaction Forces (SRF) and a few others listed on my qualification records.
My career aspirations are to pursue a career in Graphic Design after graduating from Athens State University come this Spring of 2022.
I'm currently efficient in problem solving and delivering accurate results with the ability to create an efficient work environment based on the placed position’s guidelines. Proficient in utilizing computer software such as Adobe Creative Cloud and other required additive applications necessary, such as Microsoft Office. Determined in maintaining the highest level of satisfying the companies’ expectations and also committed to helping others, reaching goals, and meeting community’s needs.
My current employment status is unemployed, since I am currently still a student due to graduate in the Spring of 2022.
My short-term goals are to apply for as many graphic design positions as I can outside of Pulaski, TN before graduating (I am open to relocate if necessary.)
For the long term, I hope to have a grounded career lined up which might be associated with Graphic Designing that would be on more of a permanent basis (preferably state or federal government with benefits working remotely.)
My personal passions include fellowshipping within the community, volunteer work in and outside of the Kappa Pi Honors, and staying in tune with my art work both in the virtual and studious aspects.
