About Richard

I have a BSME and MSME from RPI, a Professional Engineering license in NY, and have worked in the energy and power sector for most of my career. I have almost 25 years experience in the design and service of Naval nuclear reactors, and 5+ years in managing the construction and delivery of generators for gas and steam turbines to power plant sites worldwide. I am an avid hiker (an Adirondack 46er) and bicyclist, and I am an elder at the Church at Newtown Road (formerly Temple Baptist Church) where I have been actively serving for 26+ years. I am planning on moving to Greenville, South Carolina, later this year.
I also have a passion for writing and public speaking and will be starting my own blog, with an eye toward publishing a book.
