Tim is a performance driven professional with more than 20 years of active military experience with military and civilian education in aerospace, logistics, talent management, and executive leadership. Tim is an accomplished leader with experience leading diverse and international partners. Possess a comprehensive background in planning, operations, and team development who brings expertise in innovation, value creation, and executive management skills. Experienced risk management manager who implements risk reduction methodology and ensures regulatory and statutory compliance. Additionally, Tim continues to mentor a diverse group of military service members and government employees with career advancement and professional advice over a wide variety of backgrounds, situations, and goals.

Prior to joining Verizon, Tim served 23 years as an Army Aviation Officer (and UH-60 Blackhawk [Pilot in Command, Command Pilot, or Plane Captain]. Tim completed three tours to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (Company Platoon Leader and Company Executive Officer), two tours to Korea (Assault Helicopter Battalion Operations Officer and Battalion Executive Officer), his last deployed assignment was in support of Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve (Director of Aviation). Tim's last assignment was as the Director of U.S. Southern Command's Joint Operations Center, responsible for 24/7/365 watch operations that facilitates cross-functional coordination and synergy across the joint force for all military operations encompassing 31 countries and 16 dependencies and areas of special sovereignty. The region represents about one-sixth of the landmass of the world.

During Tim's military service, Tim's was awarded the Air Medal, 2 Defense Meritorious Service Medal, 4 Meritorious Service Medal, 2 Army Commendation medals, and 1 Mississippi Magnolia Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Armed Forces Service, the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and numerous unit awards. Tim is also the receipt of the Sikorsky Winged-S Rescue Award. Tim is a Life Member of the Association of the United States Army, Army Aviation Association of America, and Disabled American Veterans.

Tim received his Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science and Technology from Thomas Edison State College and MBA from Webster University. Also, Tim attended a resident ten-month graduate-level program; the curriculum includes instruction on leadership philosophy, military history, and the military planning and decision-making processes for United States Army and sister service officers, interagency representatives, and international military officers. Tim serves on various professional associations.

Tim is married to the former Amanda McNeely, they have two children, Laurean (14 yo/f) and Logan (11 yo/m).
