Seeking a career in engineering
Southern Pines, NC
I am currently finishing my initial contract with the Army and I am also working on a masters degree in aerospace engineering at North Carolina State University.
In my military experience I grew in a position that dealt with mass amounts of logistical data, project management oversight, and budgets. I would then apply that information towards a diverse and skilled workforce. My engineering background came into play to solve large problems that involved tight timelines and quick decision making. In my management experience, I was constantly humbled by my supervisors who helped me learn the importance of being a strong, independent leader. They also taught me to stay calm under pressure and the importance of how failing can be a good learning tool.
I am looking forward to a chance to apply these skills and show how my success in the Army can translate into technical and spatial growth for my next pursuit.
With that being said, what do you think I should keep in mind?
