About Naomi
Career Background:
Naomi Kent is a seasoned advisor and leader, who has a background in sales and customer retention across a wide variety of industries.
Naomi built her early career at BoardEx, a relationship capital firm based in New York and London. BoardEx was partly owned by Goldman Sachs and was subsequently bought by The Street in 2014 to merge with The Deal. BoardEx provided Naomi with a passion for people development, recruiting at the board level.
Having led successful sales and operations teams in both USA and UK, Naomi uses her 12+ years of professional services and software industry experience to guide foreign companies setting up in USA. Naomi is currently doing this as President, North America of In Touch Inc, an international professional development company.
Prior to In Touch, Naomi spent 3 years as VP, Customer Success at Shareablee, a data analytics firm in New York City. During this tenure, she made several innovative strategy and business development changes to the Financial Services sales division which doubled its revenue in just one year. Concurrently, Shareablee joined the Inc 5000 list (number 804) for the first time.
Before Shareablee, Naomi led the launch of Voyager Labs’ first US office and built a team of local analysts and sales people. Voyager Labs is an Israeli artificial intelligence firm.
Accomplishments:
Naomi served on the board of Step Up Women’s Network, a national membership non-profit organization for 4 years. She also served on the advisory board of Women in the Boardroom for 2 years. Naomi has helped provide mentorship and advice to early stage startups in New York City and is currently advising Topos Teas, a startup iced tea manufacturer from Pennsylvania.
In her spare time, she enjoys endurance races having completed two Ironman races and one relay Catalina Island swim raising money for cancer research.
