About David
I commissioned into the US Army Reserve in 2012 as a Finance Officer. On the civilian side, I have worked as a consultant in the DC area for the Army on an acquisition program until I deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan. While in Afghanistan I served as a Disbursing Agent for all US Instillations in the Kabul Base Cluster. My team and I serviced well over 10,000 Soldiers, civilians, and contractors. In addition to this we assisted in Afghanistan reconstruction efforts. Since Returning in Jan 2015 I earned an MS at Michigan State University in the Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics department (Applied Economics.) I researched food security and sustainable agricultural technology adoption in Kenya.
Since completing this degree I have been a government economist in DC.
