About Jorge
I am currently in the U.S. Navy and transitioning in April 2020. Before the military I only went to community college and worked retail jobs. I entered the military for stability and opportunity. Now that I have been in for seven years, I am ready to enter the civilian workforce. While in the Navy I have been an intelligence analyst, working for the National Security Agency. I find my work fairly interesting, enough to search for a defense contractor position.
I ultimately want to pursue a career in psychology, but am not sure what to specialize in. I have taken introductory psychology courses, but need to complete upper-level courses and earn my degree. If I could figure out what psychology focus I would like to go with, I would like to work for a state or federal organization.
