About Larry

Hello everyone,
I was born and raised in Northern California. I am a combat vet from the Vietnam era. I served as a Navy Corpsman and was attached to the 1st Marine Division 1st Marines from Camp Pendleton, California.

The photo shows me receiving a Purple Heart and Silver Star for helping wounded Marines caught in an ambush attack. I was seriously wounded myself.

I returned to college and graduated from California State University Long Beach. I started my career in the Advertising Agency field in Los Angeles. I moved to New York City and became an Outplacement executive with a large International firm.

I was determined to start my own company and launched Steward Property Care a home improvement company servicing customers in the Connecticut and New York area.
In 2018, my wife and I relocated to Aiken, S.C. where I earned additional credentials to sharpen my skills as a Transition Coach to mentor those making the military-to-civilian transition.

This online forum is a brilliant idea, and I plan to contribute as much as possible to help those making such a challenging transition back to civilian life. I've been through that, and with my overall experience as a veteran, account executive, entrepreneur, and transition coach, I am uniquely qualified to offer meaningful support to anyone who requests it.

I offer my salute to all veterans for continuing to keep America safe and for taking advantage of this opportunity to get support.
