About Pat

I grew up in northeast Pennsylvania and attended college at the University of New Haven where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Finance with minors in Economics and Quantitative Analysis. After that, I did a six month stint with Sikorsky working on their Canadian Maritime Helicopter program (unfortunately not the Black Hawks) and then got my foot in the door at Dow Jones. I’ve been at Dow Jones since 2012 and held a variety of Finance roles focused on corporate planning & analysis.

I have a lot of experience across media in general, and more specifically in corporate finance, advertising, membership, data and analytics. I started out at Dow Jones as an analyst and worked my way up to director while getting some in-depth experience with executives along the way when I was chief of staff to the CFO / CCO in 2016 and main finance partner to the CRO from 2016-2018. In mid-2018, I created a new Business Intelligence unit in the Finance team leading the charge to enhance analytics across both the company and Finance. I've also mentored in various settings since college when I peer tutored an array of courses and have been both a mentee and mentor at Dow Jones since 2016.

I have family and friends who served our country, as well as my niece and one of my best friends currently serving. I'm thankful for the opportunity to mentor with ACP as this is one of the small ways I can try to give back to those who have served.
