About Sally
Sally Macaluso: Vice President, Johnson & Johnson Marketing and Business Services Procurement
Sally Macaluso is the Vice-President of Johnson & Johnson Marketing and Business Services Procurement. In this role, Sally is responsible for managing $13 billion of global Enterprise-wide spend in the categories of Marketing; Travel, Fleet, and Meetings; HR Services; Corporate Services; and IT at Johnson & Johnson. Prior to joining Marketing and Business Services Procurement, Sally was the Vice-President of Johnson & Johnson R&D Procurement for five years. In this role, Sally created the first Enterprise R&D Procurement team at Johnson & Johnson which managed the Research and Clinical Development categories of spend. Sally is a member of the Johnson & Johnson Procurement Leadership Team. She also co-leads the Supplier Innovation pillar with the goal of driving growth for the business through innovative supplier solutions.
Sally is very passionate about women’s leadership. She was the Executive Sponsor of the Procurement Women’s Leadership Initiative for five years. She also currently serves as the leader of the University Graduate Pillar for the Enterprise Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Manufacturing, & Design Program.
Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson in 2012, Sally previously spent 19 years at Merck & Co, Inc. where she worked in the Merck Research Laboratories and then held various leadership positions in Global Procurement supporting many different indirect and direct categories. Outside of Johnson & Johnson, Sally serves on the Board of Directors for the Drug, Chemical and Associated Technologies Association (DCAT).
Sally has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Bucknell University and a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Lehigh University. Sally lives in Easton, Pennsylvania with her husband and two daughters.
