About Melissa
I served in the United States Navy as an Aviation Boatswain's Mate Handler for four years, stationed on the USS Abraham Lincoln. I moved to Orlando, Fl after I had served my four years and have been working in real estate since 2016. While I love what I do and the company that I work for, I have a passion for helping people and I feel a strong pull towards working with the VA, working towards even better healthcare for our veterans. I have been receiving my own healthcare through the VA for the last several years; while I have been incredibly stunned by how wonderful their team is and how advanced their facilities are, I am flabbergasted by how far behind the processes are.
I hope that in a career jump to healthcare administration I can do my part to help provide the best possible care to people that need it.
