About John
Marketing for Small Business (home business). I do internet marketing as an independent contractor for small businesses like pool service companies, roofers, contractors, floor companies. I optimize websites for ranking, create and post craigslist ads, create Google plus and Facebook pages, and submit internet directories.
My clients get phone calls for their services and are majorly very happy. I have a group of clients I work with on a continued basis. To have a career as a marketing specialist...you would just need to know how to do the very basic actions I am doing. There are volumes of small businesses dieing for more business. Coupled with that a desert of marketing results available to small businessmen. I am more than willing to help a vet learn this business and even take over mine for the right person.
Here is the history on this ...I had a background in training and debugging organizations and about 5 years ago a friend who had a web development business asked me to temporarily take over his business and allow him to go do a study program. I got familiar with HTML (basic website building language) and built my first site. I knew I needed to get the site to rank on search engines. I could not make sense of the data on the internet about this subject getting websites to rank... "optimization". I did an investigation into those websites ranking on Page One Google and found the ones on Page One Google had common factors influencing ranking. I incorporated those elements into my website and the website showed up on page one Google for about 400 keywords. At that point I decided I should be doing ranking optimization for a living. When my friend got back from his study..I began working as a marketing independent contractor. Consistently I got freaky unbelievable ranking results for local businesses. I discovered however that to guarantee my clients got calls for their services, besides ranking, I needed to drive potential business down on the client's website. I started creating and posting Craigslist ads for my clients and my client's phones started to explode. Well that is the general idea. I am 66 years old and frankly waste this success as I am not really too excited about making a lot of money myself or creating a large business and do not work much or too hard at all. I already did a career and lived a very exciting life. Right now I would like to be retired. I could however get excited about training a vet who could train other vets..especially disabled vets.. to be able to support themselves helping small businesses to thrive.
I will train you for free and even give you paid work as you learn skills. You will need to be able to survive while you ramp up your skills.
