Seeking a career in marketing, advertising, & communications
Crafting persuasive narratives and strategic marketing campaigns for the US Army and the Defense Intelligence Community is what I enjoyed most about my time in service. I served in a variety of roles that refined my skills as an operations and project manager, research analyst, team builder and public speaker, and I am truly grateful for all of the opportunities that ultimately shaped success into my personal and professional life.
The time for a career transition eventually arrived, I met my wife, returned to school to finish my undergraduate degree, and looked to the future with new hope and promise. The future looked brighter than ever.
However, my career transition was incredibly challenging. I struggled to find meaningful work in the private sector, worked in retail for minimum wage just to pay the bills, and all while going to school full time. Despite landing a decent job in the private sector several years later, I wasn’t living my dream.
So, throwing caution to the wind, I moved to NYC to transform my dreams into reality.
I am currently seeking a role in the field of Marketing, with emphasis in operations management and strategy development. I have extensive experience in change management and business transformation, so I am also open to management consulting opportunities. In the meantime, I will continue to enjoy my side hustle as a creative writer and digital photography artist.
