About William
I am a retired Marine and former ACP Protege' who successfully transitioned in large part due to ACP resources. While I am proud of my service and skills, I decided to close that chapter and start a new one. See, I used to believe that my former rank, college degrees, MOS/combat experience, and awards painted a pretty good picture of who I was and what I could do for employers. In my own experience, employers were looking for folks like me, but the roles were limited and often pigeonholed me into what I'd already been doing.
Once I learned to leave the past in the past and look to the future, there were no limitations on what I could do. If I could offer one piece of advice, it would be this: Negative thoughts breed negative outcomes. Think your way to success and you'll achieve it. Good luck!
