About Brandon
I started working with computers when I was about 6 years old. My first job was at a supermarket training employees on how to use the 'self-customer' check out lanes and was responsible for fixing those machines when they went down. In college, I worked at the help desk for 2 years and then transitioned into my first full time job as a Support Staff Trainee. I was responsible for training faculty on how to use specific software along with manage the companies compliance for their 'i' products. When I graduated college, I landed a job as a security analyst. I worked for about a year managing the companies incoming and outgoing internet traffic. That job led me to a developer position where I consulted for the software program named Archer. I traveled the country consulting businesses on how to use Archer GRC. Unfortunately, the work dried up...which led me to this current position where I am a Cyber Security Compliance Engineer.
I graduated Eastern Connecticut State University with a Bachelors in Business Information Systems and a minor in Healthcare Informatics. I have just applied at a school to go back and get my masters in Information Technology and Networking.
Some things I like to do... I currently have my student pilots license, I love to travel and I love to volunteer and give back to the community. An interesting fact... as a part time job...I am a detective (Asset Protection) for a local retail store.
