About Scott

I served as a 68X010 Behavioral Health Specialist for 7 years in the US Army Reserves. This included 2 deployments, one to Iraq and one to Afghanistan. During this time I was tasked with being the system administrator for the MC4 (medical communications system used at the time) for the unit and the implementation of telehealth systems throughout RC-South. Since enlisting and discharge from the Army I have worked in various fields from healthcare, private security, the hospitality industry, and my current profession the automotive production industry.

I am on track to graduate with my Bachelor of Science in Information Technology - Software Systems Engineering this spring (final class concludes May 16). Other than my military experience and what I have gained from my current degree path I do not currently posses any IT related certifications or licenses. I separated from the Army back in 2015 so I no longer have a valid or active security clearance. I have had a strong interest in code since my first introduction to HTML in high school and have a willingness to learn new coding languages, pursue different certifications to add to my marketability. Any advice is greatly appreciated thank you in advance.
