What IT/Cyber certifications do you recommend? Vendor-Neutral or Vendor-Specific Certifications?
I'm often asked these two questions by job seekers.
My answers to them are simple...
First, there's a plethora of programs that offer free training with certification vouchers, take advantage of them! However, make sure that the certifications align with a desired career pathway.

Second, I always recommend aiming for both types of certs but favor technology-focused certifications, just like many of our FortiVet Program employer partners.
Listen, find out which vendors have the most deployed network security solutions and get certified on their technologies #ASAP! I can almost guarantee you, wherever you apply they are going to be using one of their products. A "W" for you!
